Kawasaki Motors Japan will release the 2027 models of the "Ninja ZX-25R SE" and "Ninja ZX-25RR" supersport models, equipped with a 249cc inline four-cylinder engine, on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The price will be 1,014,200 yen for the SE and 1,052,700 yen for the RR.

Sensual Four-Cylinder Sound and Rich Electronic Controls

The "RR" grade, introduced from the 2026 model, continues. There are no changes in color or specifications.

The Ninja ZX-25R series is a supersport model equipped with a 249cm³ inline four-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 35kW (46PS) at 16,000rpm. It combines a sensual exhaust sound, a highly rigid trellis frame, and aggressive styling, offering high performance in a wide range of scenarios from circuit riding to city commuting. Its approachable usability, typical of a 250cc bike, has garnered widespread popularity.

The higher-spec "Ninja ZX-25RR" is equipped with Showa's BFRC-lite rear shock absorber, designed for circuit riding performance. Visually, it differs from the SE model with a clear type windshield and exclusive graphics with "RR" logos. The SE model, on the other hand, features a smoke-type windshield and comes standard with a USB power socket and frame sliders for everyday convenience.

The 2027 model released this time retains the same specifications, with only a graphic change for the "SE." The Ninja ZX-25R SE adopts "Metallic Spark Black," and the Ninja ZX-25RR adopts "Lime Green." Prices remain unchanged at 1,014,200 yen for the SE and 1,052,700 yen for the RR, with the release scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026.
