At the recent Milano Show 2025, SHOEI made a splash with its GT-Air 3 Smart, a smart helmet that can project information onto a screen. But other than this, the wave of smart helmets is steadily gathering steam! Swiss helmet maker Easyslider also presented an interesting new smart helmet at the Milano show. It is a novel style with built-in eyeglass-shaped lenses.

Venture manufacturer to be established in 2020 Customizable vision makes riding the future

As of 2025, there are very few examples of smart helmets on the market, with only SHOEI's Optixon successfully creating an AR projection that covers one eye. The company is a leader in smart helmet technology. Aegis Rider, a Swiss manufacturer founded in 2020, is working to apply cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) technology for the automotive industry to motorcycling and is introducing a new product at the Milan show, the "AR Easyslider. With the new "AR Easyslider" introduced at the Milano show, the company has finally announced the launch of a practical smart helmet. The style of the helmet is quite unique, with a spectacle-shaped twin-lens inside the helmet, which solves the focal distance and field-of-view misalignment problems of AR. In appearance, it is not much different from a regular full-face.

The new smart helmet was released by the Swiss company Easyslider. It is the most advanced motorcycle gear on the market, still only made by SHOEI.

Its features include two screens close to the eyes, which are said to enable AR projection without discomfort.

Also, in terms of appearance, there is almost no difference from a typical full-face, and the style is very realistic.

According to Easyslider, its proprietary technology seamlessly integrates 3D content into the real-world driving environment. Using spatial anchoring technology, a 3D hologram displays speed, navigation, and other information in the air, allowing riders to see important information no matter where they are looking. The navigation system also displays large arrows at intersections, allowing for error-free touring. A video of a test of the system's operation is also available, showing the unique view of the cockpit integrated with the real space. With this, there may be no need for meters at all!

The ability to display the speedometer and navigation system in the middle of your field of vision at any time allows you to focus on the road ahead.

At intersections, the system is said to display large arrows that cannot be mistaken. It is like a game screen at this point!

The AR Easyslider has already been announced for Europe and is expected to be released soon. Will other companies follow suit? It seems that the world of advanced motorcycle gear is still in the process of evolution.

The first smart helmet, the SHOEI Optixon, debuted in 2022, but sales were announced to end this year.

Its successor is the GT-Air 3 Smart. The release date has not yet been determined, but its sophisticated style is attracting a lot of attention. Other manufacturers are following suit, and we wonder how far they will be able to outdo themselves with this technology. We look forward to seeing its actual performance.
