Former MotoGP Rider Bradley Smith to Wildcard at the Harley-Davidson Baggers World Cup British Grand Prix!

Bradley Smith, a two-time MotoGP podium finisher, will compete as a wildcard in the Harley-Davidson® Battle of the Kings™ at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, which is being held alongside the MotoGP European rounds this year. He will race on a machine with a special livery in front of his home crowd.

Smith, Active in Moto America, Appears at His Home Grand Prix

Bradley Smith, who has a distinguished career in MotoGP and has also competed in the Suzuka 8 Hours, will participate as a wildcard in the "Harley-Davidson® Battle of the Kings™" held at the MotoGP British Grand Prix. Smith is a formidable competitor currently ranked 3rd in Moto America's "King of the Baggers" series, racing for the Harley-Davidson® Factory Team.

For this event, Smith is scheduled to ride a machine with a special livery to commemorate the first-ever British Grand Prix. The team will enter under the "ParkinGO" banner and is expected to line up on the grid alongside Filippo Rovelli.

Harley-Davidson® and the Team Discuss the Significance of Participation

Jeffrey Schussler, Global Racing Program Director at Harley-Davidson®, expressed his anticipation that Smith's participation will deepen the bond between British fans and the championship. While Smith receives support from the factory team in America, his participation at Silverstone will be under a fair racing format, utilizing the same technical package as other Battle of the Kings™ competitors.

Smith himself stated, "This will be my 14th British Grand Prix, and racing in front of my home fans is incredibly special. The Battle of the Kings™ is highly competitive, with many friends and rivals. Silverstone is a track I know well, and while there are things to learn, like tire differences, I want to race with pride for my home country." Team Manager Edoardo Rovelli also welcomed Smith, saying, "The addition of Smith, with his experience in top-tier racing, will bring valuable insights to the entire team."
