Here is a "SUZUKI TEMPTER" custom by Webike community user "Yousutasu". "The motorcycle is a tool for feeling the rhythm of the engine and the flow of the wind," says the owner. For him, an air-cooled single-cylinder bike suits him best, and a slow, safe ride is the perfect match. There are many things he loves about the Tempter. One is that the engine can be upgraded to 650cc using parts from the Suzuki Savage, allowing him to enjoy that satisfying low-end torque. He also appreciates its mature, understated look—something that still suits him even in his mid-60s. Other favorites include the upright engine with its simple cover, the H-shaped rims with dual-panel front drum brakes, the tank shape, and the gently S-curved stock exhaust pipe.

To the owner, it’s a masterpiece of a machine. Yet the Tempter also carries the reputation of being one of Suzuki’s more obscure models. Released in 1997 as a competitor to the Yamaha SR400, it was discontinued just three years later. These days, it's a motorcycle that many have forgotten even existed. However, one would never get that impression from the owner’s photo gallery, which features stunning, breathtaking shots of the bike. The Tempter is portrayed with such beauty that its past obscurity seems irrelevant.

The limited availability of aftermarket parts might be seen as a downside, but the owner has chosen to ride it in mostly stock form. One of the few modifications he’s made is switching to IRC PROTECH tires. Their classic tread pattern suits the retro look of the bike, while the combination of pattern and compound ensures stability even in wet conditions. He’s also upgraded the front sprocket, changing from a 15T to a XAM 17T, effectively increasing the gear ratio to enhance overall performance.
