Honda has renewed its sponsorship agreement with LCR Honda, currently competing in MotoGP, and has decided on its entry structure for the 2026 season. In 2026, LCR Honda will have two machines: the "CASTROL Honda LCR" with Johann Zarco and the "Pro Honda LCR" bearing the Honda genuine oil and chemical brand. The highlight of the event will be Diogo Moreira, who will be moving up from the "Pro Honda LCR" to the highest class. Moreira is the reigning champion of the Moto2 class in 2025, and expectations are high for the new organization with the reigning champion.

Pro Honda" is a globally integrated brand developed to maximize the performance of Honda vehicles. A machine in this livery was unveiled for the first time by Stefan Bradl, a wildcard entry in the final round of the 2024 Solidarity Grand Prix. In the following 2025 season, HRC test riders Alessi Espargaro (4 races) and Takaaki Nakagami (2 races) competed in a total of 6 races as wild cards. Nakagami and other experienced riders have been testing in the harsh environment of actual racing and accumulating data.
