New technology revolutionizing the industry: Maximizing tire grip

Supreme Technology's (Italy) Over Suspension is generally called a "mass damper". It is a functional custom part installed at the rear end of the swingarm to stabilize the ground contact of the tires using a weight which amplifies vibrations coming from the road surface in the opposing direction. This stabilized ground contact allows tires to make maximum use of their grip, providing an increased feeling of contact and traction, while at the same time extending the life of the tires by reducing uneven wear.

■[Improved rear traction control performance] The spring preload value applied to the internal weight can be adjusted by approximately 25 clicks by turning the red dial on top of the main unit. This changes the amplitude of vibration of the weight and makes a difference in ride quality. This graph shows a comparison of the vibrations. Feel the stability of Over Suspension on a variety of bike models

The range of compatibility for Over Suspension has been expanded to include Japanese domestic manufacturers, as well as KTM, and MV Agusta. The stability of the rear end improves control and is recommended for long rides. It is perfect for the Z900RS and other touring bikes as it greatly contributes to reducing fatigue.
