The Dial Helmet Holder Series, which was the talk of the Daytona booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show in March 2024, has been rolled out. In addition to universal products that can be attached to license plates and brake master cylinders, the lineup includes specially designed products for 23 different bike models. These products are now available from Webike.

Dial Helmet Holder: A dial-type helmet lock that doesn't require extra keys!

■The Dial Helmet Holder is simpler and easier to use than conventional dial locks.

■Incidentally, this is a conventional dial lock.

The Dial Helmet Holder we are introducing here is, as the name suggests, a helmet holder that can be locked with a dial. In fact, Daytona has released dial-type helmet holders in the past, but the new holder developed this time is made very differently.

Of course, a separate key for the helmet holder is not necessary, but the main point is that the dial itself has evolved to be easier to use. First, the number of dials has been reduced from three to two, and the dials themselves have been enlarged without changing the size of the main unit. This makes each number easier to read, and at the same time, the larger dials improve usability.

What is even more exciting is that you can spin the dial to the correct number without looking at the dials themselves. First, you will notice that the "PUSH" button has the numbers 0-9 around it. Next, look at the dials, which are also numbered 0-9. You will notice that the number "0" is raised. When the dial is turned, the raised section will align with the numbers on the "PUSH" button so that you know what number it has been turned to. And to unlock it, you simply push the "PUSH" button and the metal fitting will release. Once you get used to it, you will even be able to unlock the lock by just feeling it with your hand and not looking at all.

■Line up the numbers and press the PUSH button...

■The metal fitting is released to unlock the holder.

In addition to model-specific products, a large lineup of universal locks are also available!

All of the model-specific locks available are designed to be installed above the pillion step on the left side of the bike. However, some people may not be happy with this "standard" location.

But don't fret! There are, of course, universal versions available that are not dependent on the bike model. These are available in three types: a master cylinder clamp type, license plate clamp type, and M10 mirror clamp type, allowing the holder to be mounted in a location that suits your personal preference.

Master Cylinder Clamp Type (with Mirror Holder)

Part Number: 49407

License Plate Clamp Type

Part Number: Left Side - 48520, Right Side - 49411

■Example of installation

■Since it is mounted on the back of the license plate, it can be used on almost all models. By making the mounting holes long, it accommodates a wider range of bike models.

M10 Mirror Clamp Type

Part Number: 49171

■Example of installation on CC110

■Example of installation on GSX-S1000
