OGK Kabuto's racing model, the F-17R series, is now available in a limited premium model "F-17R Mips" with a carbon shell. It will be priced at 110,000 yen (tax included) and will be available in limited quantities around December 2025.

OGK Kabuto's "F-17 (F-Ichinana)" is a racing model that adopts the latest aerodynamic technology, with "omni-directional aerodynamics" as its main concept. It is the flagship helmet that brings together Kabuto's proprietary aerodynamic technology with an aerodynamic device that controls airflow while riding. The F-17R Mips is a limited edition premium model based on the F-17 with a more optimal balance of lightweight and rigidity, and is made of carbon material. The shell combines hyper-glass fiber and high-strength organic fiber material (carbon) to achieve both lightness and strength at a high dimension. The deep luster and weave unique to carbon, as well as the intricate detailing of the form, give the F-17R Mips a premium model presence. The F-17R Mips is the top-of-the-line model in the F-17 series, combining Kabuto's aerodynamic performance and safety technologies, built with carbon materials, and incorporating Mips (a technology that prevents rotational motion generated by oblique head impacts from being transmitted to the brain).
