Tony Bow Secures Back-to-Back Wins with Overwhelming Dominance

Repsol Honda HRC wrapped up the round in Andorra, at Sant Julià de Lòria, in perfect fashion. Tony Bou demonstrated his overwhelming dominance from Race 1 onward, delivering a near-perfect performance with seven consecutive clean runs. His only mistake was putting a foot down in Section 8.Although he recorded the third-fastest time in Superpole, he fully demonstrated his true ability in the races.

Bow’s momentum continued unabated in Race 2; the reigning world champion completed both the Final and Super Final with zero penalties, securing victory with a performance that left his rivals in the dust.With this result, Bow added another 40 points to his total, bringing his championship total to 160 points and further extending his lead.

Bow said, “It was a perfect weekend.The results exceeded my expectations. The bike felt great, and today I was able to finish with just one penalty point and a clean lap without any mistakes. I’m very happy, and I’m truly grateful to the team for their constant, hard work in supporting me. Their presence is a huge source of support for me. I’ve been able to start the season in a fantastic way.”

Gabriel Marcel also secured second place on the podium with a consistent performance.

Gabriel Marceli also delivered an outstanding performance this weekend. In Race 1, he put in a steady performance across all 12 sections and held his ground in the battle for the podium amid an extremely close contest.Ultimately, he managed to pull ahead in the final sections and secured second place with 16 penalty points. In Superpole, he recorded one of the fastest times alongside Jaime Busto, earning a favorable starting position for Race 2.

Marceli’s Race 2 didn’t start off on the right foot—he suffered a fiasco (a 5-point penalty) in the first section—but he staged an incredible comeback, maintaining a highly competitive pace for the remainder of the race. Thanks to this comeback, he held on to second place and secured another podium finish.With 124 points, Marcel moved up from 4th to 2nd place in the overall standings.

Marcel said, “I’m very satisfied with this weekend. The team did a really good job, the bike was fantastic, and we were able to fulfill our roles effectively.Both yesterday and today, I had a good feel for the bike right from the start of the event. Although I made a few mistakes, I was able to recover quickly and maintain a high level of performance. Finishing second in both races and second overall for the day—the result couldn’t have been much better. Still, our goal is to win.In Italy, I want to take a few more risks and challenge for the win.” he said.
