If your titanium silencer, a good example of the expensive silencers available nowadays, should get dented by your bike tipping over, you would need to be prepared to spend a great deal of money to repair or replace it. Even if it does not go that far, many of you have probably experienced the disappointment of having your silencer unexpectedly damaged during storage. To solve this problem, we recommend the "Silencer Protector" made by POLISPORT of Portugal.
Although POLISPORT's Silencer Protector is intended for off-road bikes, it can also be used for street bikes. As you can see, the material is silicon rubber with high elasticity. Because of its elasticity, it can also be used with oval silencers and no special tools are required. However, the heat from the exhaust may leave marks on the protector, and of course, it does not guarantee protection of the silencer in the event of a spectacularly bad fall, but it can be used as a fail-safe measure.
There are two sizes, both for circular silencers: one for φ64 to φ105mm (outer circumference length: 200 to 330mm) and the other for φ109 to φ127mm (340 to 400mm). Each is available in two colors, black and gray.
