Honda Cars Gunma Donates "Streamo" to Gunma Prefectural Police, Specified Small Motorized Bicycles Used for Police Activities and Traffic Safety Education

A new initiative to support traffic safety and community security in Gunma Prefecture has been set in motion. Honda Cars Gunma Co., Ltd. has donated its latest specified small motorized bicycle, the Streamo S01JTA, to the Gunma Prefectural Police. Special Streemo to be introduced to Gunma Prefectural Police

On December 12, 2025, Honda Cars Gunma Co., Ltd. donated two "Streemo S01JTA" special compact motorized bicycles developed and manufactured by Streemo Co. At the donation ceremony held at the Gunma Prefectural Police Headquarters, the specially-designed bikes with police markings were unveiled and a demonstration ride was conducted by police officers. The donation was realized as part of Honda Cars Gunma's contribution to the local community. The donated vehicles will be used for a wide range of police activities, including daily police work such as patrol activities and patrol communication, as well as traffic safety education in response to the spread of new modes of transportation. The donation consists of two Streamo S01JTA vehicles with a donation value of 605,000 yen.

Unique Balance Assist System Ensures Safe Driving

The most distinctive feature of Streemo is that it enables users to move at their own pace, from walking speeds to bicycle-like speeds. Equipped with the patented proprietary "Balance Assist System" technology, the vehicle body is self-supporting even when stopped. Streemo Corporation's mission is to solve mobility issues in aging and depopulated areas, and since the start of delivery in 2023, the company has expanded its business use to logistics warehouses and amusement parks in addition to personal use.
