SP Takegawa has introduced a new 2-pot caliper machined from aluminum. It is a universal type with a mounting pitch of 84mm, allowing it to be used with many common caliper brackets.
Aluminum billet 2-pot caliper with enhanced design
SP Takegawa's new billet aluminum 2-pot caliper has an original internal structure and is finished with high precision in every detail, allowing for precise brake touch and greatly improving control performance. The surface is color anodized, and the logo is engraved in the center and painted with heat-resistant paint. The mounting pitch is 84mm and the piston diameter is Φ34mm. Installation requires the use of a caliper bracket (sold separately) that is compatible with the bike.
■Installation example: Monkey (carburetor/10-inch) with SP Takegawa rear disc brake, φ160 disc rotor and bracket
■Installation example: Monkey 125 (stock brake hose) with SP Takegawa front caliper bracket and front disc rotor
■Installation example: Monkey 125 (SP Takegawa brake hose) with SP Takegawa rear caliper bracket and rear disc rotor
