Kawasaki has announced the 2026 model year of its adventure tourer, the VERSYS 1100 SE. The new model comes in new colors, Metallic Deep Blue and Metallic Diablo Black, and will go on sale on December 20 as a Kawasaki Plaza exclusive model. The price is 2,123,000 yen, up 33,000 yen from the previous model.

The VERSYS 1100 SE is an adventure tourer equipped with a long stroke suspension, upright riding position, comfortable seat, and excellent wind protection for long tours. It is also the top model in Kawasaki's Versys series of sports tourer models, and from the Versys 1000SE until the 2025 model year, its displacement was increased from 1043cc to 1098cc, maximum output was increased from 120PS to 135PS, and a new gear ratio was adopted to increase torque in the mid to high rpm range and improve the exhilarating riding feel at high rpm. The new gear ratio delivers increased torque in the mid- to high-speed range and an exhilarating riding feel in the high-revving range.
