Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA MONKEY" custom by Webike community user "Ky's". SP Takegawa's combination switch is mounted on the handlebar, consolidating the switches on the left side. Equipped with three functions, headlight (high/low switching), turn signal, and horn, this product frees the rider from cluttered wiring while achieving a simple appearance. DAYTONA's machined aluminum anodized bar ends were installed to add accent to the handlebar area. The chrome-plated side stand is also by DAYTONA. This 10-inch long side stand provides stability when parking the bike by positioning it at a more upright angle. A KITACO pivot cap adds an accent to the look. The front of the machine is fitted with a MINIMOTO stainless steel HONDA emblem, which is resistant to corrosion, creating a classic touch and adding a lively appearance to the front of the bike. KITACO's Mini Aero Visor was installed to protect the meter area, which greatly changes the atmosphere of the bike. For the tachometer, SP Takegawa's Black and White Tachometer Kit was chosen. The classic look goes well with the machine. A DAYTONA Turn Signal Relay with hazard functions was installed for added safety. For the front and rear sprockets and chain, KITACO and DID were respectively chosen for their solid construction and cost-effectiveness. An SP Takegawa Manual Reinforced Clutch Kit eliminates clutch slippage and the cam chain is also by SP Takegawa. This is an excellent product with a dramatically improved wear life of 1.8 to 4 times that of the standard product. Additionally, the wheels are also by SP Takegawa, and anodized to resist corrosion. The highly reputed CF POSH Rear Drum Damper Hub Kit was used to reduce vibration when riding. The owner says it is a good partner that teaches him the fun of customization as well as riding, with its abundance of custom parts and easy maintenance.
