A Sharp "DAGGER": Suzuki KATANA Custom

TG-RUN's KATANA

This KATANA is a full custom called "SHIN HAGANE (means dagger in English)," by TG-RUN. It is based on the M0 model originally developed as the one of their works "Version Up Complete." This motorcycle presented here is the second model and the first one ordered by their customer. Although the colorings and details differ from the first demo, the theme of "comfortable and easy riding" is also applied in this KATANA.

The fender eliminator and silencer bracket used in the demo was prototypes. In this custom, TG-RUN fully utilized what they learned from the demo. For example, some parts are easy for installation and never miss the owner's usability and preferences. The main configuration is the same as the demo. Forged wheels, full exhaust and brakes, original stem and original seat enhance the performance of the bike while taking advantage of it. TG-RUN always analyzes the owner's riding style and customizes the bike to fit the owner's preference.

Bodyworks

The coloring is silver. Windshield is smoke type by Magical Racing.

The mirrors are NK-1 by Magical Racing and the front master is Brembo Racing. The handlebar is retained to use as a reference for creating the position.

TG-RUN Sport and Comfort Seat reduces fatigue and improve rider's footing. The fender eliminator kit is set up by ACTIVE.

Handle

TG-RUN steering stem kit is installed to provide proper grip position with the stock handlebar. The clutch holder is made by OHNO SPEED.

Engine

The liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder, 998cc engine is retained with its injection system. A radiator core guard and K-Factory sliders are installed.

Intake & Exhaust

For the exhaust system, full exhaust by K-Factory is installed for their gentle sound quality.

Chassis

TG-RUN Riding Step Kit for NEW KATANA has five adjustable positions to enhance the sense of unity and sportiness with the bike.

The front part of chassis consists of Ohlins inverted front forks, Brembo Radial Billet racing calipers and SUNSTAR Works Expand brake discs. Magical Racing carbon fiber fenders are mounted on the front and rear, whch are the same parts as the ones used in the demo.

Rear shocks are also Ohlins, and the rear brake disc has been replaced with SUNSTAR Works Expand. The wheels are forged Marchesini aluminum M7RS wheels, 3.50-17 for the front and 6.00-17 the rear.
