TG-RUN's KATANA

Technical Garage RUN, a custom shop, produced a bike called "SHIN HAGANE" in the spring of '20 through an original version upgrade complete, which aims to extract the essence of the current KATANA while improving its lightweight design, operation, and maneuverability. After its launched, they received numerous production orders and customization projects are still ongoing. The photo depicts the first unit of the SHIN HAGANE.

After completion, the SHIN HAGANE underwent riding tests in various situations, in order to address any inconveniences. The final product, which was already impressive at the time of completion, became even more user-friendly and a reliable partner in everyday life. Changes have been made during the testing process such as adjustments to the seat internals, the position of the step bar, and the throttle holder. The seat was fine-tuned by adding and removing padding, and the optimal riding comfort was finally achieved on the fourth adjustment. The handlebar remained in its stock form as a reference point to assess changes made through other adjustments. Due to the characteristics of the SHIN HAGANE, the throttle was set appropriately as a high throttle. From the five available positions, the step bar was reselected to suit the user's preferences, and a suspension that allowed for effective adjustments was chosen as well. This version upgrade complete truly showcased its distinctive feature of not only building but also configuring the motorcycle to fit the user's needs and riding style. The current SHIN HAGANE can be considered as a further upgraded version of the version upgrade complete concept.

Handle

The TG-RUN Steering Stem KIT allows the mount position to be moved up approximately 5mm and back 10mm without replacing the stock handlebars. This modification significantly improves the handling stability by altering the riding position. In addition to being compatible with Öhlins forks for the GSX-R1000R, there is also a standalone top bridge available that is compatible with the stock forks.

The Brembo Front Master Cylinder and GALE SPEED Clutch Holder are considered essential items for enhancing the operational quality. The opening change rate is matched to that of the SHIN HAGANE, and these features significantly improves the fitment to the motorcycle.

Bodyworks

The seat has been modified for the fourth time, including the stock, to provide the best comfort from sports riding to touring.

Chassis

The fully adjustable Ohlins inverted forks, Brembo Racing calipers, SUNSTAR brake discs, and Marchesini M7RS forged aluminum wheels are components that enhance the all-around performance of the motorcycle. These parts contribute to a lighter and more manageable riding experience, allowing users of all kinds to appreciate their benefits firsthand.

The motorcycle is equipped with various parts, including the K-Factory CLR-RG and Full Exhaust System with a hexagonal exhaust that produces a gentle sound, the TG-RUN one-off Fender Eliminator, an RK 520-size chain, and front and rear fenders from Magical Racing. The front and rear wheels are Marchesini 7RS wheels, with sizes of 3.50-17 and 6.00-17. These additions enhance both the aesthetics and performance of the motorcycle.

The Ohlins rear shock is full-adjustable type. This is because by setting it up according to the specifications and usage of this bike, its benefits can be experienced even in everyday use.
