[New Models] Honda Unveils 2027 "CRF250R" and "CRF250RX"; Sales Begin September 4 for a Limited Pre-Order Period

Honda has updated the color schemes for its motocross-specific “CRF250R” and enduro-specific “CRF250RX” models, and will release them as 2027 models on September 4, 2026, for a limited time

For the CRF250R—a competition model designed to deliver top-tier performance in motocross—Honda has introduced a new color scheme featuring a striking tricolor of red, blue, and white (Honda’s signature colors) accented by a large Honda logo. This design is intended to enhance the bike’s presence in the motorsports arena, where rider and machine become one as they compete.

The CRF250RX is based on the CRF250R and comes standard with knuckle guards and a side stand, along with a larger fuel tank capacity and other specifications tailored for enduro racing.Both the CRF250R and CRF250RX will be available in a single color option, “Extreme Red,” which embodies the power and passion of Honda’s off-road models.

The order period runs from Friday, June 19, 2026, to Saturday, October 31, 2026 (subject to early closure depending on order volume). The annual sales target for the entire series is 350 units.The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 913,000 yen for the CRF250R (base price excluding consumption tax: 830,000 yen) and 957,000 yen for the CRF250RX (base price excluding consumption tax: 870,000 yen).

Please note that the CRF250R and CRF250RX are competition-only vehicles; they cannot be ridden on public roads or in areas open to general traffic, and they cannot be registered to obtain a license plate.
