Honda has updated its CRF series significantly! New Motocrosser "CRF250R" is now available, and a higher grade limited edition model "CRF250R HRC-WE" is also available

Honda will release the 27YM CRF250R with updated livery and graphics for the 2027 model year, inheriting significant improvements from the 25YM and featuring an appearance that is more consistent with the HRC racing machine. The Japanese introduction schedule has not yet been announced.

The 2027 Honda CRF250R builds on the extensive improvements made to the 2025 model year, with updates focused on the exterior design. The frame is 70% new, and the rigidity balance and suspension settings have been revised to improve cornering stability, especially in rough circuit conditions. Steering responsiveness is also not sacrificed, providing riders with a sense of security.

Sharing the same chassis as the 2025 CRF450R, the engine has been modified to further improve mid-range torque.

The engine features a new crankshaft and optimized intake and exhaust systems and PGM-FI settings for improved torque throughout the range and extension beyond peak power. On the electronic control front, the three-stage Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Launch Control, and Engine Mode Select button (EMSB) continue to be available, allowing the rider to select the best setting for the situation.

The 27YM now features HRC graphics that are consistent across the entire CRF family. This design brings Honda's off-road racing machines and circuit racers together under the HRC brand.

Special "CRF250R HRC WORKS EDITION" also evolved.

The CRF250R HRC-WE features a Yoshimura muffler and Twin Air air filter. It also features an exclusive cylinder head with "CRF WORKS EDITION" engraving.

The 27YM CRF250RWE, renamed the CRF250R HRC-WE, is a special edition model designed to offer even more performance and added appeal. and TwinAir air filters for improved intake and exhaust efficiency. It also features special ignition timing, start mode settings, and a hydraulic clutch system, all in pursuit of racing performance.

The cylinder head intake and exhaust ports are handcrafted by specialists at the Kumamoto factory for smooth intake and exhaust and power delivery. Special treatment was also given to the suspension, including titanium-coated rear shock rods and special dark Kashima-coated front forks. On the outside, a number of special features are also used, including a metallic red engine head cover, black top and bottom bridges, and a gold DID chain.
