Daytona has released the VELONA Electric Speed & Tachometer Φ60, a compact multifunctional meter that combines a needle-type speedometer, LCD tachometer, and indicator in a single meter. With an aluminum body, this product offers many functions in a compact Φ60 size.

Integrated speedometer and tachometer

The "VELONA Electric Speed & Tachometer Φ60" released by Daytona is ideal for riders who want to integrate motorcycle instruments in a smart way. This multifunctional meter compactly integrates a needle-type speedometer, a tachometer with LCD display, and various indicators in a Φ60 aluminum body. The speedometer can display up to 200 km/h, and the tachometer is driven by a stepping motor for accurate and smooth pointer operation. In addition, a voltmeter, odometer, and two trip meters (TRIP1 and TRIP2) are also provided, allowing centralized management of information necessary for touring and daily riding. Indicator functions are also extensive and include a warning light, neutral lamp, high beam indicator, and left and right indicator lights. This makes it easy to visually grasp the status of the vehicle. As the product name suggests, the speedometer is electric and is compatible with vehicles that can pick up a 0V to 5V pulse signal from the vehicle speed sensor and vehicles with a 12V DC battery with full transistor and CDI ignition.

Installation and precautions for various vehicles

The "VELONA Electric Speed & Tachometer Φ60" can be used with a 45mm pitch anti-vibration meter stay, making it suitable for installation on many types of vehicles. However, some vehicles may require separate parts. When installing on a vehicle with a mechanical stock speedometer (the type that uses a meter cable), the Denspi Conversion Adapter (Part No. 93390) or non-contact speed sensor (Part No. 65327) is required separately. In addition, a pulse generator (Part No. 92333) may be required for vehicles that cannot obtain RPM signal output from the ECU or CDI, or for vehicles with a stock mechanical tachometer that require additional tachometer functionality. These separately sold products and repair parts are also available, making the system ready for customization to a wide range of vehicles. The standard price is 26,400 yen (including tax), and installation time is estimated at 4.0 hours (*not including setting time, etc.). Daytona: https://www.daytona.co.jp/ Image Gallery (4)
