Sanctuary's ZRX1200R
The Sanctuary produces a variety of complete RCM machines. ZRX custom has been very popular among motorcyclists. However, it is difficult to say that the overall balance is necessarily the best when it is built mainly with bolt-on parts. Therefore, the owner chose to review the entire project from scratch to enhance the total quality.

The engine was disassembled entirely and converted to a 6-speed transmission. The ZRX1200R engine, whose plated cylinders make it difficult to increase the bore, was given high compression by incorporating ZZR1200 stock pistons, resulting in a highly responsive engine. The exterior of the engine was painted with gun coat to give it a brand new look. To match the engine, a Nitro Racing titanium Weldcraft exhaust was installed on the exhaust and a Yoshimura TMR-MJN on the intake. A Nitro Racing wide radiator and high-mount oil cooler were also installed. The ZRX1200 Daheg's bikini cowl and Leopardo's single seat cowl give the bike a sporty appearance. The single seat was modified to meet the RCM's needs, and although it is already available on the market for the ZRX, Sanctuary was particular about even the slightest difference in the angle. The suspension was chosen from one of the world's top manufacturers. The ExM package (Exchange Mode Package) with Öhlins inverted front forks, O-Z Racing wheels, Brembo GP4RX radial calipers for the brakes, and Sunstar Works Expanders were selected to achieve a high level of driving performance. The specs for high-level performance were incorporated into the vehicle. The instrument panel and rear fenders are not off-the-shelf parts, but one-offs. The emphasis on originality and the thoroughness of the workmanship can be seen in these parts as well. Because the ZRX1200R is an older model with excellent balance, Sanctuary did not rebuild it from the dimension of the chassis like the 70's and 80's models, which are Sanctuary's specialty, but focused on building each part with delicate and precise work. This is why the ZRX1200R has a strong presence as Sanctuary's RCM.
Engine
With the engine tuning, the cooling system was enhanced with the addition of a wide radiator and an overhead oil cooler to cope with high RPM range use and increased heat generation due to high compression.

The ZRX1200R engine uses a plated cylinder, making it difficult to increase the bore using the normal method. Therefore, ZZR1200R pistons were used to achieve high compression and punchy characteristics. The exterior is coated with gun coat.
Intake & Exhaust
Most of the exhaust pipes are covered by the under cowl, so you can't see them, but the exhausts are made by Nitro Racing using the weld craft method, which involves cutting a titanium pipe into a circle and welding it into a layout that just barely has enough clearance to avoid interference with the front tires while still allowing the engine to run.
Chassis
The brake and clutch masters are both radial pumps made by the trusted Brembo. The levers have been changed to the RCM concept released by Zita. The aim was to reduce weight by cutting out the meat, as well as to reduce aerodynamic drag at ultra-high speeds.

The front forks are inverted with the ExM package set up with inverted front forks. The placket uses Sculpure's Inverted Stem Kit SP Type 1.

The black rear shock is Nitron's Stealth Twin. The stoic coloring of this part has been attracting attention in recent years. The pre-load adjuster and some other parts are red in color to add a touch of individuality.

The suspension is solidified with parts made by the world's best manufacturers, including Brembo GP4RX machined radial calipers, Sunstar Works Expanded rotors, and O-Z Racing Gas RS-A wheels.

For the brakes, ø250mm Sunstar rotors and Brembo 2-pot calipers were used for cornering and body attitude control, rather than for braking power. Both front and rear wheels are made by O-Z Racing.
Bodyworks
The bikini cowl has been changed to a genuine ZRX1200 Daheg. The carbon fiber look is not a watermark, but a carbon transfer. The headlight unit has been converted to LED, giving it a unique look.

As mentioned earlier, the single seat is based on the Leopardo design, but in order to achieve a solid overall silhouette, the tail cowl ends have been slightly modified, and a carbon sheet has been added to the body.

The owner requested to have an undercowl installed, but there was no such product available for the ZRX1200R from Noblest. So, a large modification was made to a GPZ900R undercowl that was available in the lineup to match the width of the car, and a perfect match was obtained.

The speed and tacho gauges are made from stacks for increased reliability. The panel part is made of carbon, and is a one-off from the plate part using CAD at the company. This is also the work of the person in charge of the project.

A single seat made by Leopardo was selected based on the customer's request for a single seat, but the seat rail was modified to pursue the ideal RCM. In addition, the bottom of the seat was remodeled using FRP, and the mounting bracket was made as a one-off project to slightly adjust the angle of the seat. Although the seat may look casual, the work was done with the utmost care to make it look natural.
Handle
The unfamiliar handlebars are Daytona's RCM Concepts, which are products that manufacturers have prepared in response to requests for design and performance suitable for use with RCM.
Frame
The step is made by Nitro Racing, which has a simple design and is very popular for both older and newer cars. The moving parts have built-in bearings for ease of operation.

The swingarm is made of Sculpture, which was developed for the purpose of obtaining the optimum length to make it more of a handling machine. The chain puller in the photo is an RCM-specific product that differs from the standard product sold, and it is a custom-made product with additional stabilizers and stand hooks.
