Thrilling Track Riding with the GT: HAYABUSA Custom

TG-RUN's HAYABUSA

The current Hayabusa upgraded and customized by Technical Garage RUN. Incorporating carefully selected parts scrutinized by TG-RUN to match the owner's preferences and riding style, maximizing the performance of the motorcycle. This Hayabusa is equipped with a clip-on configuration that closely resembles the stock, designed for aggressive riding on the track. In simple terms, the suspension is set up for heavy loads, allowing for solid braking and front tire compression when leaning into corners using pitching techniques. However, it doesn't stop there; it is also capable of accommodating setups that involve more bike movement for an enjoyable riding experience. This adaptability in setup is a distinctive feature of the version upgrade and customization. Each bike owner has different riding skills and preferences, and their way of riding varies. The aim to create a custom-made bike for each individual owner reflects the original concept of this version upgrade and customization.

This way, the bike can be maneuvered smoothly, increasing the sense of security not only on the track but also on the streets. The handling becomes more precise, allowing for finer control, creating a sense of ease when it comes to bike movements such as acceleration, deceleration, and cornering. In the case of this particular bike, it is set up to respond even when pushing the speed on the track. If the speed becomes a bit too intense, the potential of the Hayabusa comes into play. An example of this is the traction control system included in the greatly evolved S.I.R.S. (Suzuki Intelligent Riding System) of the third generation, which intervenes naturally. Surprisingly, both the first and second generations of the Hayabusa have had many owners who enjoy riding on the track. It offers a different experience from the competitive nature of supersports; rather, it is about extracting the meticulously crafted potential as a GT (Gran Turismo) and savoring it.

Handle

They have installed the TG-RUN & OVER Sports Riding Handle Kit to enhance the sharpness of control by converting the handle from the stock rubber mount to a direct mount. The handle width is adjustable, allowing for a gentle hanging angle and a 12mm higher position at the bar ends compared to the standard setup, optimizing the riding position. For both the front brake and clutch master cylinders, they have chosen the Brembo Racing ones. They have also applied their original lever lock modification and replaced the levers with ZETA flight levers.

Bodyworks

The seat is a genuine Suzuki accessory colored seat with a divided surface for the seating area and side panels, which is installed by removing the stock seat. The body color is Matte Sword Silver Metallic x Candy Burnt Gold, based on the stock color order plan for the M2 model. The wheels show off a matte black finish, matching the solid black color option available in the color order plan, using Marchesini wheels.

Chassis

The rearsets kit is the TG-RUN & OVER Riding Step Kit, which allows for 4-position adjustment of the bar position. The frame covers and other components are made by Magical Racing and feature carbon construction.

The front forks feature inverted Ohlins products, and the bottom is equipped with the TG-RUN & OVER Front Axle Sliders. The front brakes consist of Brembo GP4 RR Racing Calipers and TG-RUN & Sunstar Works Expand Brake Discs. The Magical Racing front fender is carbon.

In addition, the rear brake incorporates a TG-RUN & OVER Brembo Rear Caliper Support, with a Brembo GP2 SS 2P caliper mounted on the lower side. The brake disc is a Sunstar Works Expand Disc. Furthermore, the bike is equipped with a TG-RUN & OVER TT Formula RS titanium full exhaust system, which features on the bike's right-hand side.

The rear shock is an Ohlins TTX GP, and the Hayabusa stock swingarm and link have been installed. Additionally, a Magical Racing carbon rear fender has been added.
