Here is a "HONDA MONKEY" custom by Webike community user "Totsugeki-Fukukaicho". The owner is thoroughly enjoying the customization of his 1996 Gold Limited Edition Monkey. It is fascinating to see how it has evolved significantly since the top photo, which was taken the day after the bike was delivered. Although several exhaust systems have been equipped over time, the current setup features the YOSHIMURA Cyclone GP-MAGNUM. The exhaust pipe is made of stainless steel, chosen for its durability, aesthetic appeal, and cost-performance. The exhaust provides rich mid-range torque especially for tuned engines, making early shifting possible.

At the front, the owner has opted for the DAYTONA Aero Visor Mini. Considering the Monkey’s riding position, the visor’s primary benefit is aesthetic enhancement and protection from the sun for the gauges rather than airflow management. Previously, the owner experimented with a custom look using a steel plate-style sheet bought from a 100-yen store to create an original aero visor, which you can see in one of the photos. For the headlight, a MARCHAL Yellow Lens with the unforgettable cat logo was selected. The yellow glass lens, unlike resin ones, offers better texture and evokes a retro, nostalgic atmosphere. The owner added the MINIMOTO Iron Headlight Protector to further enhance the striking appearance and give the bike an even more impressive face.

The engine has been upgraded with a SHIFT UP HR 88cc Big Bore Kit, increasing displacement, and stable combustion has been achieved with the high-performance, long-life NGK MotoDX Plug to improve ignition. The rear suspension is equipped with a Bitubo Twin Shock, a high-quality suspension from Italy. The wheels have been replaced with SP Takegawa 8-inch aluminum wheels for weight reduction. The aluminum is anodized for superior corrosion resistance, and the silver anodizing beautifully accentuates the bike.
