Team CB's CB900F

Many owners seem to desire the stock style for the CB-F series. Even now that the popularity of old bikes has increased, the desire to change something may be lower than with other models, perhaps because of the desire to keep the high sense of balance of the stock. This Honda CB900F is equipped with clip-ons and inverted front forks. The base color is not only black, but also the carbon pattern and two-tone turquoise blue stripe and logo, while keeping the stock pattern, which is typical of Team CB's customization.

Main changes in this bike are the chassis and the exteriors. For the front forks, inverted types are installed, and the color scheme is changed like that shown in the picture. It seems to be very simple way, however, it is also interesting that this custom retains old-fashioned atomosphere in the modernized look. The owner is considering frame's reinforcement and powder coating next. They also intend to overhaul the engine and tune it up, and paint it black to match the other parts.

Handle

In the photo, the mirrors are removed, but bar-end mirrors are usually installed. Blinkers and headlights, which incorporates LEDs, are mounted with machined brackets. The exterior is covered in clear carbon, and the seat was newly made by NEO FACTORY.

Electrical

The gauges are retained. The stem is replaced with an OEM part of Honda CBR954RR to match the new inverted front forks. The clip-ons are CONVERTI BARS, the front master cylinder is Brembo RCS, and the clutch master uses a Brembo mechanical clutch lever kit.

Engine

A round oil cooler is added to the stock 901cc engine which has been kept clean. The engine will be souped up internally, and the exterior will be painted black. Also, rear shocks are laid down and will be reinforced and powder coated.

Intake & Exhaust

The carburetor is FCR Φ35mm diameter carburetor. Full Titanium 4-1 megaphone end exhaust, which is popular in CB-F customization.

Chassis

The front forks are GSX-R1000K7 OEM, and the carbon fender is by Magical Racing, which matches the other exteriors. The front brake consists of Brembo radial caliper and SUNSTAR Premium Racing braking disc, with stainless steel mesh and black coated brake lines by SWAGE LINE. Floating pins and caliper colors are also changed to blue.

The speedometer has been changed to a front sprocket sensing type due to the front area being replaced. Nitro Racing rearsets are installed.

Rear brake consists of Brembo P2 34 caliper with SUNSTAR premium racing brake disc. OVER RACING aluminum swingarm with lower stabilizer is Type 8 for the CB750F, made of 80 x 40mm triple-squares cross section pipe.

NITRON Twin R3 has black and turquoise springs to unify the color scheme. The front and rear wheels are forged aluminum Gale Speed Type-C, 3.50-17 for the front and 5.50-17 the rear.
