Webike's Opinion
Here is a "YAMAHA FZ1 FAZER" custom by Webike community user "Manbo". The owner used to ride a 250cc single-cylinder, but when long-distance touring became increasingly tiring, he switched to the FZ1 FAZER, which seemed to be manageable for a large-displacement four-cylinder bike.
What he particularly likes about this bike is the 5-valve, forward-leaning 4-cylinder engine, inverted front forks, NITRON mono-shock, center stand, grab bar, and exhaust system. To further personalize the motorcycle, he swapped the stock fairing mirrors for handlebar mirrors. He installed TANAX Mirrors, which match his preferences for both texture and design. These mirrors have been enhanced with anti-glare performance to accommodate the increase in HID and LED headlight-equipped vehicles in recent years. The owner mentions that it helps by preventing glare from rear headlights as well as the sunrise and sunset, making riding much more comfortable. He also added ACCOSSATO Mirror Covers to the areas where the fairing mirrors used to be. He chose the red-colored covers, which blend seamlessly with the bodywork and look great.
As someone who enjoys long-distance touring, the owner wanted to reduce the fatigue caused by wind resistance during extended rides. He opted for the Puig Racing Windshield, which is made from 3mm thick acrylic and is known for its durability. Although it's only 2-3 cm taller than the stock windshield, its excellent aerodynamics provide a significant reduction in wind hitting the helmet. For nighttime safety, the owner installed SPHERE LIGHT LED headlights, which he has been using for three years without any issues. The headlights offer excellent brightness, increasing both visibility and peace of mind. They're also bright enough during the day, enhancing the bike’s visibility to others.
Other custom parts recommended by the owner include the DAYTONA Red Pad Brake Pads, which provide a satisfying braking experience, and the TATSUMA Shift Pedal Rubber, which eliminates foot pain when shifting. With the shift pedal rubber, the owner no longer experiences discomfort while shifting, and it has eased his concern about possibly being unable to ride a geared bike in the future.
