The CB1000F becomes more "F"! Doremi Collection presents a concept car with a 1980s atmosphere!

The Legend of the CB-F, Again... The CB-F, a symbol of Honda's air-cooled sports bikes, was one of the most iconic motorcycles of the 1980s. The theme of the Doremi Collection, based on the CB1000F, is the re-creation of the CB-F style. Text: Doremi Collection .

Inspired by AMA Spencer specifications

Based on a 2025 Honda CB1000F, the tail cowl, side covers, and front fenders were modified to bring back the "F-ness" of the CB-F of yesteryear to a modern chassis. (The area around the gauges is currently undergoing adjustment.) The exterior color was inspired by the machine driven by Freddie Spencer in AMA races in the 1980s. The exterior coloring is reminiscent of the racing CB-F of that era. Speaking of Spencer's specs, one cannot forget the Velasco tubes. A stainless steel slip-on muffler was installed on this prototype. The blacked-out finish is another attractive feature of this prototype.

CB-F style tail cowl

The most noteworthy point of this customization is the CB-F style tail cowl. The tail cowl was designed to have the volume of the CB-F of yesteryear, taking into consideration the balance with the stock tank. The tail lenses are also well balanced with the overall silhouette in mind. The stock seat, stock rear fender, and stock blinkers can be installed without modification, allowing for a degree of freedom in customization. The tail cowl and side covers can be combined in the following 4 patterns. Please check the before and after photos to see the difference.

CB-F front fender / radiator cover

The front fender has a fin design reminiscent of the CB-F of yesteryear. The front fender has a fin design reminiscent of the CB-F of yesteryear, and its split-type construction makes it detachable. The radiator cover was installed to prevent stones from being splashed during the driving tests. This part will be commercialized (price and release date to be determined). The car is also equipped with Doremi Collection's original item, the fake twin shocks. This is a unique Doremi detail that gives the impression of the twin-shock style of yesteryear, even though it is a modern monoshock vehicle.

Highlights at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show

The release date and price of these parts have yet to be determined, but we are looking forward to seeing them at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show, where the vehicle will be on display with a few "hidden items" installed on either side of the engine cover. Also, the AMA Spencer specs include DYMAG wheels, which are currently being considered for installation. The installation of DYMAG wheels is currently under consideration, but at the time of this writing, it has not yet been decided. Will they be ready in time for the show?
